utterly broken - playable in all sorts of combos, and there is no limit to how many you can run in your deck! make a 60 island deck, raise one eyebrow and grin whenever your opponent moves to play something, and he'll be SO intimidated by your stack of untapped islands, he'll more than likely resign.
