Throw a couple of these into a deck against Jund or RDW or burn, and try to convince me it sucks. Back in the day there weren't too many ways to counter, and this doubled as removal and counter sideboarded against red. Clearly obsolete now...but...

hydroblast and pyroblast are dirty compared to the blue and red elemental blasts. I still like the BEB and REB though, for 1 cost they are powerful, but must be used carefully.
