Thats A Big Skate I Caught A Ray That Size. And Since I'm Pretty Aggro I Would love To Play It In Blue. I Prefer This Over Wind Drake As Well

Strictly worser than Storm Crow.

I'd have ike this one as one-drop. Or maybe as 3/3 with Fading 2.

Yeah, you could utilize proliferate to keep him alive but you could just as easily... not do that.

Neat card. Needs haste.

This card fades away through a time rift and then emerges in the future as Riftwing Cloudskate.

Bad, but absolutely adorable, in a derpy creature way

People don't seem to realise that this is a nice card in mono-blue aggro, which is surprisingly viable. There are not a lot of cards in mono-blue, for a converted mana cost of two, that flies in for two damage in the air, and they all have drawbacks. I, personally, would prefer this card over Welkin Tern, the next most viable mono-blue flying creature for two mana in aggro.

Very cool art from Carl Critchlow on a very effective creature. Stated nicely by Tiggurix above already: mono-blue aggro is a viable (and surprisingly powerful) deck type, partly because people rarely see it coming. Cloudskate fits in nicely, and is common for pauper format fun. Cheap fliers like this can hand you the game before your opponent gets a suitable defense established. Also, blue has so many ways to bounce creatures that reloading this guy is a snap when he's almost out of fade counters.
