Honestly, it wouldn't be that great if it wasn't a rebel.
Thanks to the fact that it is a rebel though, it lets you use Lin Sivvi to use that ability over and over again. Heck, there were even some successful rebel decks that took advantage of that fact and used Distorting lens and whatnot to make sure that Lawbringer (or Lightbringer - which may be slightly better) would have legal targets.
...and that's just good times right there.

Awesome card in Rainbow Magic. The fact that it removes the creature from the game instead of destroying it is a huge plus!
