I'm not really sure what is going on in that artwork but I do like it and it feels very "black".
Also, the card itself is fairly solid. It's especially good for dealing with irritating chump blockers if you don't have trample. At worst, it's 1 card for {B} which is fine with me.

Can you regenerate in response to this being cast? With regeneration now lasting an entire turn, this could be a problem.
I'm assuming that this means that the regeneration "shield" won't have any effect, rather than the creatures owner not being able to put the regeneration "shield" on, but it isn't made clear.
