I supposed you can sac it later for RR, but is it really worth it?

Lands like these are an obvious trade-off, and whether or not it is useful for you should be determined by your personal play preferences.
But there's one problem: they're non-basic, which is almost always a liability, and limits synergy with other cards. Yet you could also argue that they prevent landwalk, so... Whatever. Take it if you like it.

Probably the best in the cycle since red is the most likely to need a quick mana boost to power a game ending burn spell.
