Ar first I saw an expensive holy day. Then I realized your blockers can kill their attackers.

That redeems it, I think. I'm tempted to use it, especially when you factor in the great art and flavor text.

Will see a good bit of use in Limited, though outside of that, it will probably only see play in casual. Still, flavor is great, and it actually does what the packaging says.
Yeah, the only use I can see for this over Safe Pas.sage is if you're playing a lolz deck in multiplayer to mess with other people's attacks.
I should build a lolz deck once. Probably more annoying than fun over time, but once would be fun.
EDIT: Oh, right, forgot about team games. 2HG might use this.

@Belz_ . . . You took the words right out of my mouth. . . fingers.

How does R&D calculate mana cost. Safe Passage is strictly better and could be even used when your opponent plays an inferno.

........ .5/5 Why would you ever use this over safe passage?

I love the flavor of this card. The art and flavor text are almost perfect.
That doesn't make it a good card though; although the ability is awesome, it's overcosted, especially since there is already a cheaper alternative in the same format. Why does the worst fog have to be the most flavorful? Single tear. 1/5

Overcosted card. On the other hand, the flavor intrigues me. Does it means that angels actually have a chance against the eldrazzi now that they are free?

The art is gorgeous, and the flavor works well. The horrid cost doesn't, it should be WW or something interesting.

That's the Shepard of the Lost there.

In my opinion this card has bad flavor, even if you can TRY to kill the eldrazi now that they dont do any damage youll still have to sacrifice your permanents when they attack... horrible, moment of silence fits ALOT better for eldrazi
Technically has a minor advantage over Safe Passage in that the latter doesn't stop attacking creatures from killing your Planeswalkers.

The creatures also don't have to be attacking you...
Unless you are playing a team game, Safe passage every time

It's better than Holy Day, because your own creatures can still deal damage, without taking any. It's a good way to deal with Glass Cannon-esque First-Strikers that though they would be find since they get in the kill in pre-combat damage.

Anybody else notice the angel has an absurdly long arm? Her hands would hang past her knees.

I am guessing that angel is dead now.
I love how, while this may stop damage, this does little to stop Eldrazi. Annihilator still goes off, which is the Eldrazi's main way of dealing damage anyhow. The flavor sorta contradicts the function but whatever. Like I said; that angel is prolly dead now. I don't really object. Eldrazi ftw.

Good art...really dumb flavor and cost.
Safe passage is strictly better.
I wish I was an editor for this game sometimes because there's a simple solution to what's wrong with this card. Just add the text "abilities or spells can't cause you to sacrifice permenents this turn." It's just that simple to make a great limited card.

This card is so you can put it into your binder and admire it for flavor and art. If you want a real fog go for Angelsong
