COMBAT damage. Nothing flashy here. Or even combo-ey. Just hack-and-slash/i gain life ftw. Not very much fun.

Remember, if it's not called lifelink, then it stacks with lifelink. Errata would seriously weaken this card.

True Conviction One mana more for double strike, but on the other hand, you can put four NoPurs in your deck without it dragging you down because the effect stacks.

I would never "combo" this with lifelink because it feels to much like abusing the system. If lifelink does not combo, nether should this.
