I use these in EDH when I have an expensive general. In 60card you're much better off throwing around Dark Rituals and the like.

a bit overcosted, but the suicide mana could come in handy, if used correctly. still, doesn't deserve the rare rarity.

The lowest rated Ramos gem? I doubt Black is the best mana-ramper in the game...
Regardless, you're usually better playing Phyrexian Totem. You trade a deposited Black

mana for a Phyrexian Negator. You tell me which you'd like better.
