I wouldn't want it as a rare, but it can store your mana to splurge for a later turn. The picture is high octane nightmare fuel. there are better cards.

Pretty good. Usable even with no charge counters. It's a shame you can't put on more than one charge counter on in a single turn.

I think if I had a copy of this, i'd have to tape something over that art.. It really just gives me the chills..
But it's a lot better a card than I first thought, since i missed that 'plus one' in the second ability. Compares decently to the Shrine of Boundless Growth. Even if it would get counters at about half the speed, it's reusable.
