It looks bad at first but I've used it to great effect as a savage aerial assault early in the game.

are you kidding? This guy is not bad. 3cmc for 3 power and flying? He can't block, but so what? He deserves a better rating.

Dang, we have needed something to trade with Chimney Imp for a long time, he has been wrecking the metagame!!!

Who cares if it can't block, you're playing black! Be aggressive!

Dark Ritual and you can be swinging for three flying on second turn.

I have this image of a daggerclaw imp flying out of nowhere to attack, only to get his claws stuck in the side of a cliff.

Maybe that's why he can't block.

He'd probably be worse if he could block, because even having the potential to do so might cause you to hesitate to attack for even one turn.

The "Drawback" is more like secret anti noob helper.

He can't block because he's not supposed to, he's supposed to hit hard in the opponent's face.

Unholy Strength is an easy way of making him even scarier.

Solid black three drop, casual playable...particularly in pre-ultimate power creep days. A single 3 mana investmnt for 3 repeating evasive damage in black is surprisingly useful. Now outclassed by vampire nighthawk, oona's prowler. Compare to vampire interloper as well, which has a relevant tribe. This only combos with chimney imp

i'd rather dark rit into a wasp lancer......or better yet, a hippie or nighthawk
