Alternate costs that allow to play a card without any mana are interesting in general, yet since this effect also affects your opponent's creatures and the mana cost are rather expensive as well, it's not too useful. It can still show potential against mono-colored decks, of course, especially in combat.

I prefer Glory.

It can save your army from a huge attack or mass damage even if you're tapped out, which is pretty sneaky. Typically you'll want to use it for unblockability in a final push, though.
