This is a limited blowout when I've played with it at the pre-release. Will require some testing in decks but I feel that aggro-midrange decks will do well with this card that tilts attrition to their favor heavily.

This is going to be a very powerful card in the Pauper format, but also very difficult to play. I'm betting a lot of people try to use it at first, but don't know how, and then we see this card fade away until a clever deckbuilder breaks it and then everyone copies what they've done.

it would be great to see someone play titanic ultimatum, only to become obselete by safe passage

Looks like Endure just got one-upped... lol what a waste of a card that is now, plus an uncommon. Safe Passage ftw.

In the world of Magic Angels support soldiers but in the game angels suck. Too expensive and easy to kill.

This is better than Holy Day since ALL damage is prevented and not combat damage. The fact that it's a one-sided prevention makes it so much sweeter.
The mana cost isn't that horrible either.

I think this card is severly underappreachieated. It prevents all damage to you and your creatures and therefore beats Holy Day quite easily. The worst thing about it is that you can't help save another player in multi-player with it, but thats not that big of a deal in most game types.

This deserves to be rated abit higher if you ask me. Remember, this prevents ALL damage, not just creature damage and it's for 3. This literally shuts some people down for an entire turn.

It's a close game. Both he and his opponent are tied at a stale 10 to 10. He's been waiting half the game with urza's rage in his hand, and finally gets the ridiculous mana that is needed to make it worth it. Three strong creatures are preparing to attack. "This is gonna' be easy", he thinks. "I've got the win right here, and all my opponent has out are a few measly 2/3 first strikers." Little does he know, his opponent just happens to be waiting for the right time to play his safe passage and twincast. His turn starts, and he plays urza's rage and attacks with all his creatures for the final victory! . . . . . "WHAT?! NO! Urza's Rage can't be countered!" he says with a look of devastation and rage on his face. "Did I say I was countering it?" his opponent says in a cool voice with a smirk and a twinkle in his eye. Little did he know that in a sad few seconds the game would be over with him on the losing end of it. And all because of a measly common, and a boring looking rare. Timmy was never the same again. . .

I love this card. holy day is good, but this is better.
W, prevent combat damage 1, allows your opponents creatures to take damage 1, prevents burn
2W, screw RDW in the bum.

I really like this card. Reasonable cmc and it stops all damage to both you and your creatures. Also, you can use this to prevent any burn spells that would deal damage to your planeswalkers. Since your opponent must redirect this damage from you to your planeswalker, you can play Sage Passage in response and then there will be no damage for your opponent to redirect.
I use this card in a deck with other white control cards like Wall of Omens, Path to Exile, Oblivion Ring, Gideon Jura, etc... and hopefully get a Luminarch Ascension to pump out 4/4 flyers like nobody's business. It's not a competitive deck but it's can be fun to play for casual.

Actually endure is not strictly worse than this, as endure protects planeswalkers. So nyah. As for safe passage (or Safe P!@#age as the censor would like to say) Is a really awesome combat trick in any situation, as a fog effect or to protect your creatures as they foray into a battlefield full of "one for ones" turned "One for frees"
