What's really flaky is that you can only sacrifice Caribou TOKENS according to the original wording, so you can't even sacrifice a Changling to gain an amazing 1 life.

This card would be so much better if it cost 1 less mana to cast and if it would be unnecessary to tap the enchanted land. It's a cool concept though and useful in the environment my friend and I play in where we limit the number of uncommons and rares allowed in a deck. (This is nerfed down to uncommon status.)

I like the flavor, but I'd rather just run Kjeldoran Outpost. Granted these are different types of cards and not strictly comparable. But if you are in need of white token creatures, the Outpost is much better.
