Nice ability, keeps a tapped creature locked down. I'd like to see this ability again in a future set.

I'm starting to gain respect for this card in casual multiplayer. A deterrent to those who think of attacking its owner, for sure. Similar to Giant Oyster.

Interesting ability for a green elf.

For the most part, I'd say that white's one-mana creature-tappers (Goldmeadow Harrier etc) are better; but this can prevent the opponent from using nasty instant-speed tap abilities, and they can't. Also, this is in a color that doesn't usually get good anti-creature cards, which is a plus.
