nice artwork, yet the effect is not a really big advantage. interesting replacement for shroud, but not necessarily better.

Still got the card in a nostalgia-deck (only cards from 94 and older). It's not incredible, but 2/3 for 3 mana is ok, half of the time it got shroud, art is fine, got great flavortext, so fine in a casual deck for people who are into nostalgia. :)

they should have given this some kind of nod in the time spiral block.

I always preferred hydralisk... Lurker was never worth the extra resource management...

Starcraft jokes? Seriously? Who invited you, anyway?

P.S. Watch out for a Zealot (il-vec) rush, especially if they're backed up by (Radiant's) Dragoons.

This is interesting. Not much good for combat, but immune to sorcery-speed removal, and you could potentially throw some utility enchantments on him. Then again, you could just play Troll Ascetic.

So he's a shrouded 2/3 for {2}{G} that loses shroud whenever he attacks or blocks? Not bad. I'd like to see this sort of mechanic revisited.

I like the flavor. Until he comes out of the shadows to attack or block, he can't be hit by spells.

The Lurker, the most common type of yard sale sale goer. The kind of person who hangs around for two hours but never actually buys anything and creepily hovers near innocent customers, some feel welcomed by their presence, some scared away. A salute to Lurker, a very interesting card.

This guy had quasi-shroud long before shroud was cool.

Interesting mechanic, both for flavor and for being one of the first examples of a form of Shroud. Not badly costed either, at least for its time.

@ HuntedWumpusMustDie

Are you mad?
Tech rush to Lurkers vs Protoss was a winning stratergy! For me any way...

Cool art, average card.

Its shroud isn't that useful (most removal is instant-speed anyway), but a 2/3 for 3 wasn't that bad at the time.
