Well it's not terrible. It is a playable card its just not very good. There are any number of better 4 mana creatures, even in black, that would outshine this guy. But he doesnt have any harsh drawbacks....... 2 out of 5

Completely terrible; compare to Giant ***roach.

Murk Dwellers have Drew Tucker art and The Dark flavor going for them. By today's standards, they are not at all competitive, and even back then they competed with Bog Wraith for deck space. Making them into zombies makes them slightly more playable, but I kind of wish they were made into spirits or even humans.

The most I would ever pay for this would be 2B. At least then there'd be a minor damage advantage.

There are several cards that can give creature with power 2 or less unblockability. You cannot do that to Giant ***roach.

Is it bad that after looking through a lot of The Dark, I saw this card and my first thought was "hey, not bad, I can hit a person for 4 whole damage without jumping through a totally insane hoop!"
The Dark has its good cards, and some good creatures even, but they're not the face bashing kind.

I remember loving that art when I first saw it in like junior high.

Well, if you use some red cards to make them attack several times in a single turn, they become more powerful with each attack.
