This card is overpowered. One time, I was at 11 life with no cards in hand, and it was my opponent's turn. He had a Darksteel Colossus in play, but opted to sacrifice it to flashback his Cabal Therapy naming Mountain Goat. The next turn I topdecked Mountain Goat, and many turns later I won the game with it.
Baaa! Mountain Goats are the cornerstone of any goat deck, along with the Springjack Pasture goaty-land of course. It's hilarious when my low-brow goat deck beats hell out of, say, a vampire deck or something equally dark and menacing. I never did come up against Goatnappers, but I dread the day...

I beat my friend once with this card alone. It took exactly 20 turns.
In a world where devestating Eldrazi ravage whole planes of existence, in a world where the most powerful beings - called Planeswalkers - weild deadly spells, only one creatures reigns above the rest. Atop a snow-covered mountain sits Mountain Goat. With his superior heroism, he is unafraid to step closer to the mountain's edge to look down at the rest of the world. In a single word, Mountain Goat. is. BEAST!!!!

Four of these bad boys in your opening hand and you put any red player on a 7 turn clock! How did R&D let this through!?

The funniest part to me about this card is that it is in no way an actual red card. It's not fast by any means, belongs to no red tribals like goblins, does not deal actual damage, and doesn't have any variation in power to toughness ratio. The only thing that makes it red... is that it's on a mountain. Even in the card, there is snow everywhere.

You play this on the field... and YOU WIN! guaranteed... like seriously!
If mountain goats are not goats, rather antelopes, shouldn't this card have a subtype change?

MAN this is one of the best cards! I remember some time ago i made a red goat deck just for the lulz, it turned out it's actually so overpowered that it was SICK! On legacy ppl were humilliated with my Mountain Goat equipped with 4 Bonesplitters and with the Lightning Greaves. Swinging each turn for 9 and unblockable... Every blue mage that has faced Montain Goat still fears the day of it's return to sweep the legacy format once again...
...in the meantime the almost divine godbeing Mountain Goat shall observe the planes from top of the world and await for it's time to rule once more...

Okay, it seemed funny in my head.
The primer 1-drop R creature.
