Bad, bad card. But beatiful art and a flavour text that is touching and heart-warming.
It's easy to appreciate powerful cards, appreciating bad ones is an art.

If this was an instant, I could see it getting play. Too bad.

Better with the ZEN rule changes (no mana burn).

I think it's pretty solid. At the very least it's a gain of 2 life. And as we all know, 1 extra point of life can be a game winner. Assuming it works well with conspire, It's a gain of 8 life for 2 mana. And that's at the very least.

Though honestly, I'm most disheartened by cards that could've been great with just a little tweak. This would have been exponentially better as an instant.

Yea as an instant it would have been beter. But what about in a deck with 20 artifact lands? With todays rules, you gain 2 life for each land you control. Not bad im considering building a deck around it.

If someone is playing it, they're doing it for the art and flavortext. Of course, it is pretty strong for a one shot life gain in green.

Looks pretty solid to me--play it after a combat where you swung with a lot and you can get a lot of life for two mana. What am I missing here?
EDIT: Hey, I figured it out! Yeah, it's a pure lifegain card, though not a terrible one.

This seems pretty good. At the very least you should earn back in life approximately half the cost to play it (assuming 2 life = 1 mana), at most... hell.
Try playing this after an extensive saproling/elf assault and see what you end up with. Played at the right time, it easily pays for itself.

At the end of your turn, after combat and all of your other spells, this can potentially be a lot of life in an elf deck. Plus, the flavor. The flavor!

Um... This card is broken. It is way better than stream of life in that it is gain one liffe for everything you have that is tapped. Convoke combos well. Conspire combos well. Ajjanis pride mate combos well as it is one life per tapped card not x where x is the number tapped. This in so many ways can be explioted for overkill. Searing meditation anyone? Tap all mana production. Play this. Use mana to burn like crazy. Then if you have left over mana play some guys with blood thirst. Great in boros, conclave, RG guild that I always forget name of, naya, rith, thornscape, ect. combo deck.
