this is just a shell of the card it used to be.

One of the Reaper King's best friends. It keeps him from being terminated, enchanted with opponent's spells, and so forth. Sure it costs three for the ability, but that can be managed. I'll easily put a couple in my scarecrow deck.

Great in blue decks

I was going to suggest using this with Spellskite, but gah, of course Spellskite's not blue.

I love using this to give an opponent's creature shroud. Instantly counters their spells targeting it.
