These types of lands add some flexibility to the type of mana that you can tap for, but only if you already have another land out that you can tap for or . If you tap this alone, you can only get .
It would also make more sense if the text read: , : Add to your mana pool.

The thing about this land is it's so flexible! Running 4 lets me have a good conscience when playing 1RR cards, or 1UU, or stuff like that.

Not as useful as it looks, lots of alternatives out there.

There is something really cool about this land. It just is awesome!

The artwork is absolutely beautiful. I'm personally not a runner of R/U, but I can appreciate the absolute sublimity of this card, and each one in the cycle.

I put together an Izzet deck with 4 of these...made it run SO smoothly. These lands are just fantastic

And yes Vinifera7, it would have totally made more sense to put it that way. I seriously wonder why they did it this way instead.

Okay, MasterOfEtherium, that one was really funny. But I am still your enemy.

Vinifera7: The reason they didn't template this with "Add to your mana pool." is because it doesn't work that way. Hybrid mana tells you what you can pay for it with, not types of mana to produce. It's the same reason that, for a long time, colorless lands said "T: Add one colorless mana to your mana pool." instead of "T: Add {1} to your mana pool."
In short, it doesn't work within the rules as written, and they decided to make the card more obvious rather than more succinct but have to change rules to get there.

Vinifera, it wouldn't make sense at all. It's impossible to add hybrid mana to one's pool.

I like this cycle of land a little more than the M10/Innistrad land. As Alqatrkapa said, this with a mountain for example, may end with in your mana pool, unlike almost every other land. Moreover, this comes into play untapped whatever you control a land of the type it matters. If you control a Shivan Reef, this comes into play untapped and you can add , , or already, but Sulfur Falls would come into play tapped, hindering your 2nd turn play... However, it may be only a corner-case, it depends from what you have in your deck.
I like them so much, third best dual land in Modern, after Ravnica shock-land (first) and Zendikar fetch-land (second, even if they don't form a complete cycle, in Modern)
My favourite of the cycle, because I love 4.5/5

Not as good as a proper dual land on turn 1, or if you're playing more than two colors. But if you're only playing two colors, you want this more than duals every time after turn 1, 'cause it more or less turns any one of your relevant basic lands into a dual, too!

I really hate how when I type cascade into the quicksearch when I forget which cards have the keyword, this card always pops up. That said, it's a really good mana-fixer in a {U}{R} deck and the artwork is pretty nice.

@WhiteWizard42: I disagree. Elemental Resonance can add split mana to your pool. Why not this?

@Tynansdtm No it cannot. It even says in its reminder text that for hybrid mana symbols, you have to pick one...
