2 bad things about this card

1. It doesn't work in a artifact deck
2. on the expensive side

but the card advantage is often worth it so a 1of might be fine in your play set.

Am I missing something? This seems like a very solid card. You could just keep two cards in your hard to draw one additional card per turn for 1 mana. Two bad it doesn't work on colorless though.

A terrible card to draw with an empty hand but tempting and balanced.

Unfortunately the casting cost is rather high and you might have not too many cards left by the time this card hits the ground, but concerning the activation cost one mana is very cheap compared to other cards providing continuable card advantage. The requirement is not too hard to achieve, but still is a problem since this won't work for a couple of turns if you emty your hand.
On the other hand, if use cards with buyback, forecast or similar abilities that do a good job from your hand, this card should actually find use.
I would not advise to put it in a deck running more than two colors or too many colorless artifacts, though.

SirDoom, you have to know MasterOfEtherium always capitalizes every word in his comments and omits any punctuation marks. He does not only make the sentence almost unreadable that way - concerning the content 95% of his comments only rant about the art and how great and/or bad the card is, sometimes also parroting precedent comments.
If you're lucky, he just simply copy-pastes the flavour text, which legible, but not more useful either.
He doesn't even troll yet manages to post some of the most useless comments here on Gatherer.

The card is "meh". I might run it in a mono-white or mono-red commander/edh deck, where card draw is few and the games take long. But else? You need card draw most when you have an empty hand (like having been the victim of a discard spell). And when you have an empty hand you can't use this card. oO

Comparable cards often charge you per card, which makes it hard to actually cast what you drew. Is it REALLY so hard to have two spells left in your hand late-game?
