Throw it in a goblin deck for shites and giggles perhaps

probably made for a shaman deck, a green/red shaman deck, and since there are a few goblin shamans, it would make sense for a tribal deck

Ya this seems to be meant for R/G goblin decks not for playing against goblins lol.

Prob meant for either for {R}{G} Gobs or for playing against {R}{B} Gobs.

It's an off colour landwalker... surely it should have a higher rating?

His face... "Not sure if want."
Also: "If you want to test wisdom, offer it to fools and watch how they tear doze poosies up."

R&D: So let's see what we got. A picture of a strafing tree. Now put on a totally irrelevant name, Bog-Strider Ash, yeah. Also a totally generic mana cost. He seems defense-ey, so 1/6 could work... Wait no, 2/4 just for lulz. Give him a totally radical ability... Swampwalk does it, since his random name says bog-strider anyways. A totally conditional Dragon's Claw would totally confuse 'em, whenever a player casts a... a...... Goblin spell, yeah that's right; they gotta pay a green too, we don't want this to be too good, hehe. Now just slap a stupidly irrelevant flavor text. They'll sure love this.

This guy is funky. Not only are the ability's weird, but when playing with goblins you want to unload your hand as fast as possible. You cannot take advantage of his ability fast enough, you need to summon goblins after you drop him, and most goblins are 1-3 drop that want to be out fast. Not only that, you have to feed a green mana to use it, and 2 life is not worth the hassle at all.

Perhaps you can come up with a bounce engine plus Raging Goblin and this guy, but then congrats you are using at least 3 cards + RedGreen to gain 2 life a turn!!!!!

Not good a good card at all, but then again they all cant be winners.

That is the worst way to test wisdom that I have ever heard proposed.

I feel like this should just have given you the 2 life without spending any mana.

Then again it's just a common, and there are probably 2/4 landwalkers with a converted cost of four out there that don't have an additional ability at all. Or maybe not even a landwalk ability or anything else...

Way too many people look only at a creature's abilities, instead of actually at the entire thing. A 2/4 for 4 on its own is quite playable, albeit hardly amazing. With conditional evasion added to it, it's getting pretty good; that ability is just a weird little bonus. Definitely deserves more than 1.8/5

More of an anti-goblin card than a pro-goblin card. I'd imagine it'd be pretty decent in limited.
