With Wall of Denial this is pretty much useless

Wall of Denial also requires blue mana. This one can be played in mono-white or any other combination with white that doesn't include blue. Finally, this wall can actually kill certain things it blocks, rather than be a 0-power unpumpable schmuck ('cause of shroud).

A 0/8 wall can stop one little flyer. A 3/5 wall can stop a bunch- most opponents won't sacrifice a creature each turn to combat. Which isn't to say this is better than Wall of Denial- it's not. But Wall of Swords can do some things Denial can't.

I am the bone of my sword.

Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.

I have created over a thousand blades.

Unknown to death.

Nor known to life.

Have withstood pain to create many weapons.

Yet those hands will never hold anything.

So, as I pray,

Badass art, lengthy and terrible flavor text.

If that broken mess of a card Wall of Denial were never printed, this would still be seeing a ton more play.

By the time you can play this, you won't need a wall

I like Wall of Swords. Especially with this art. If I had a monowhite deck right now I'd be rocking this for sure.

& come on, it's tough to compare it to Wall of Denial, which is maybe the best wall ever.

I only it had first strike!

Feels like a wall of swords would be focused on offense over defense, but maybe that's just me.
