Haha, cool spoof of deranged hermit XD or, looking at it, you could almost say deranged hermit is a spoof of off this :P and @ZONFER: I'm afraid they don't, unfortunately. However, seeing as you would then get 9 power for 4 mana, that would be pretty ridiculous :P

@Dark_Raider, thanks much for the quick response. I was just thinking the same thing before I checked for a response. Four mana for a 1/1 and four 2/2s?! NO WAY. I believe the key word in the card is "turned" face up. That word implies you must play him face down first then morph him to get the saps. Oh well, an MTG freak can dream... can't he? ;-)

Nikeyeia, you're doing morph wrong if they know exactly what you're doing. The point of morph is illusion: mis-information and doubt. If I run any morph creatures in a deck, I'm running several, that way they don't know what to get rid of or what to be afraid of. Even if you have a useless creature out (morphed), you could hold them off simply based off of what they think it might be.

The card references Deranged Hermit. The Thelonites were a cadre of mycologists who worked with Thelon of Havenwood to develop the first Thallids.
