One of the best snow-related cards. I wish it wasn't that good, though. Mostly because the rest sucks so much.

I personally believe it's almost always better than Nantuko Shade
It's super splashable because the cost is snow.. so if all your lands are snow... (aside from a few of your manafixing dual lands) it's insane....
Also the flying for 1 extra mana is pretty huge imo.
The only draw back is that you can't use other special lands as easily... but I thin it's pretty great

In a snow deck this is a cheap shade with evasion and colourless pump. This kind of obsoletes a LOT of other shades.

Something that can be noteworthy aside from any color of mana, the flying, etc; is that this works well with the Extraplanar Lens trick.

Hamlet's father's lines are acceptable too.
