Ia Ia Cthulhu Fhtagn. This shouldn't be a yeti mutant. It should be a Great Old One. Also: See Infiltration Lens for 1: Equipped creature is also a Drelnoch.

Equip him with an Infiltration Lens. He will never be blocked again.

Cmon Wizards, errata this as a snow creature! Then I'd have an excuse to use the CTHUYETI in my snow deck!

Yeti Illithid! Remember, Wizards owns Dungeons and Dragons as well, so it is more likely to be a mindflayer than Cthulu.

Whatever ends up blocking him could be considered Davey Jones' blocker.

I really wish this guy was legendary, as others have mentioned you can find ways to force him to be blocked...even without the awesome yeti mutant typing, a 3/3 for {4}{U} is pretty darn good in {U}, add in the card draw mechanic, and you've got a pretty decent creature.

I find it interesting that the artwork makes my mind wander...it's almost as though the card itself is a trap for Drelnoch to use to sneak up on yo- ACK!

The flavor text actually makes this card feel rather black.
(Or even better - blue/black, which would suit this Chtulu-inspired eldritch abomination quite well.)
Since it catches and devours your opponent's thoughts,
you'd think it makes your opponent discard cards, not give you the option to make use of them.

Its just a flavor thing though, i won't complain about a built-in Infiltration Lens.

What a weak body for 5 mana. The curves been set by the titans, sorry little guy. You just dont make the cut!

This is one of the most disturbing cards I've ever seen. Reminds me of The 'Thing' movies. I like how it retains its disturbing nature even though it's daytime in the card. Yeesh.

"Curve is set by the titans"? I strongly disagree. The titans came out half a decade later, first of all, and they're Mythics, not Commons. This is a solid card that's highly draftable, splashes well into EDH decks, and has a very impressive P/T to cmc for blue. Frankly, you don't understand how MtG works.

Careful now—Drelnoch and Infiltration Lens do not work quite the same way. Drelnoch only looks at itself for whether it's been blocked at all, which means the draw will only ever trigger once per combat. If this is confusing, know that Infiltration Lens' ability is identical to "Whenever a creature blocks equipped creature, draw two cards."

Actually, referring to the Pathfinder Bestiary 3, this creature is most likely a Moon Beast, not Cthulhu. This is supported by the fact that this guy gives card advantage in combat, as if he's absorbing the mind of the blocker.
