got one of these i just wish it wasnt damaged. dont know how the hell it got bent but its at least still in decent shape. i usually have a hard time deciding what to rate some cards but this deserves a solid 5 if you ask me.

What a great card. At 2 mana, Demonic Tutor is an awesome investment. You can use it to get whatever you might be lacking. Land, a creature, removal, a combo piece - ANYTHING! Its versatility is amazing. Reprinted in various ways since, nothing has ever quite compared to the original.

Straight into your hand without having to show your opponent/s and no ill effects. The only thing that would make this more awesome would be if it were instant.

Goes to show how broken the game used to be and how they've cleaned it up since. Amazing card. 5/5

@GlintKawk42 if by broken/cleaned up you mean that this was an uncommon that was particularly useful instead of a mythic rare you would need to buy a box of boosters to maybe pull, yeah they cleaned it up nicely. if you gave me the choice in 1994 between this and most any 'akroma' permanent, i know what i would've picked. nonetheless, great card and probably doug shuler's coolest contribution to the game. he loved them pentagrams...
