Regarding the artwork, some prefer the Ravnica one, which is definitely nice as well. Yet i prefer Edward P. Beard Jr's artwork. It's smaller, looks more like a singing bird and has very colorful plumage, too. That's more how i imagine Magic's amicable and powerful mana producer, at least.

has the art really ever depicted multiple birds? then again, "bird of paradise" doesn't quite have the same ring to it
