Nope. Monolith redirects only one source of damage, and for instance, if you block with your Pariah'd creature, then used this to redirect the damage unto yourself for {1}, Pariah's replacement effect would automatically apply the damage right back to the creature. You can't respond to a replacement effect like you can to a triggered ability.

The ability of Jade Monolith is unique enough that it deserves to be a rare. It combos nicely with the Circles of Protection. While the initial casting cost is a bit steep, the activation cost is more than reasonable for what it does. Use this in an aggressive deck to save your high power / low toughness creatures from chump block deaths, or to kill of multiple blockers while keeping your fatty alive.
