I use that card along side snap. in a deck where I need to control the board and combo out, I can tap out with ease to lul my opponent into a false sense of security when he decides to burn a creature or attack.
Still a fair card, I don't find myself leaving one blue mana open a whole lot so it tends to be at least as good as unsummon in that case. And when I tap out it can save my tookus in a pinch. Nah, I don't use it, but I can imagine using it. Also of note, you can use this in a deck designed to function without lands (or even mana)
Nice tech against reanimators, or simply to gain some tempo without losing mana, so you can develop the battlefield in the meanwhile...

Nearly every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.
This card references Snap, part of the cycle of blue cards that are essentially 'free' (they untap the lands needed to cast them.) This version is 'free' if you pitch a card, similar to blue's infamous Force of Will

Interesting, I've never seen this card.
Mostly good, IMO, as a means to pop up a creature cheated/ramped into play that will eat you too quickly; such as a T2 eldrazi.
