I'd rather use plain old Moat. Of course, that card is sooper expensive, so this makes a nice budgeted option.

Nice and balanced, but for this cost isn't that good. I mean, for five mana you could cast something better, but of course, played against a deck which has no flying creatures/enchanment removal it can be devastating.

Did anyone else notice the Mark of Phyrexia on that shield?

When I quickly saw this card, I thought it said, "Teferi's Meat".
It had to be an Unhinged card, but I soon learned that my dirty mind was playing tricks on me again...

It's like Moat, but balanced. That and it doesn't cost you your first born's soul for a playset.

People might've missed one key different between Teferi's Moat and the original Moat. Specifically, Moat stops every creature without flying from attacking anyone, but Teferi's Moat only affects opponent's creatures. This allow you to attack with your own land creatures, which is an advantage over the original Moat.
Of course, the old Moat is still more powerful, but Teferi's version is not without its merit.
