Why only rated as 2?
Sure white has some better redirect cards. But considering this is a common with many uses, and you get to draw a card, for only 2 I rate this a solid 3/5.

This could save a creature, and potentially yourself, and give you a card advantage.
Block and kill a 6/6 with a 5/5 and draw a card? Yes please.

I prefer Harm's Way to this.

Doesn't work with Ink-Treader because he wouldn't be the only target of the spell. Try Bandage instead.

Props for attempting to reintroduce Carom into our lexicon (it seems like a cool word!) but honestly, Wizards, we all still read this as "Karooooom." Also the 1 should be a 3... :)

I'm glad Wizards is done printing like eight of these rubbish spells per block.

@psyklone: Better yet, block and kill a 5/6 with a 5/5 and draw a card. That's a net 3-for-1.

(It's more likely to happen with
a 1/1 vs. a 0/1,
a 2/2 vs. a 1/2,
a 2/3 vs. a 2/2,
a 3/3 vs. a 2/3,
a 3/4 vs. a 3/3, or
a 4/4 vs. a 3/4, but whatever.)

Very strong combat trick in limited, in Ravnica pingers are pretty plentiful and strong, like Gelectrode and Ickspitter. This is the catch-all to them. Many times a 2 for 1, oft even a 3 for 1. Not enough damage redirection for constructed, though.
Salient, if you change the 1 in the card text to a 3, you'd have to change the 1 in the mana cost to a 3 or even a 4.
