might be good to get stuff into your graveyard i guess, but there are much better ways. If you use it just for the card manipulation you are an idiot, use ponder or one of many other better options.

Ponder wasn't around in Portal the Third Age (My favorite set just because of flavor.) This card, while not amazing, gave you options back then, and options equal advantage usually. Portal was beginners magic, no interrupts (Sorry, Instants.), less dealing with the stack, more about smashing your opponent's face in battle. Was it an amazing set? No, it's noobish and beginner, even back then, but the flavor of it still sparks my love of Magic. Plus Horsemanship.
