Even if he's a 4/3 nearly unblockable, soldier warrior with haste, isn't six mana a liitle expensive for his casting cost? Had it been five then he proabably would have been slightly more efficient.

Uh no, Lu Bu is amazing. Six mana is a bargain, especially in red. Also, it costs 5R, so it can be splashed easily.
